Bariakhop is a beautiful small village in Soreng Tehsil in West Sikkim, India. 17 kms from Darjeeling , It can be reached by vehicle from NJP ( 4 hours) or you can trek here from Barsey amidst meandering roads through the famous Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary.  At Bariakhop you can spend a couple of peaceful days hearing different types of birds chirping around the green forest, in and around you, enjoy serene village life and watch  the clouds floating around, playing hide and seek with the ever changing weather. You may also like to taste the exquisite local wines and just relax. From here, you can go for sightseeing to Pelling, Rinchenpong, Kaluk, Sinshore bridge, Hillary park.
