The calmness of this place is ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation of inner soul. Majua is located at Pulbazar in Darjeeling district. It is on the way to Bijanbari from Manebhanjan. There are about 1100 inhabitants in Majua. It is nestled on the banks of Sawaji Khola river, (the source of river is Rangeet- one of the famous rivers of Darjeeling). One can walk a little distance to reach the river and spend some time around it listening to its healing sounds. This village is surrounded by Singalila Forest range. The nature around this place is so soothing that it could easily make you fall in love with this place.

How to reach Majua

Majua is located at a distance of 89.6 km from NJP Station and 4 km from Manebhanjan. You can reach Majua via Manebhanjan or alternatively you can reach Ghoom from NJP and from Ghoom to Majua in shared vehicle. It is about 21 kms from Ghoom.
