Tandrabong Homestay

In the local Lepcha language, Tandrabong means a place where 'Tangdar' or “Beating of Drums” happens during a Buddhist ritual. Amidst the lush green forests of the Neora valley National Reserve, Tandrabong village is one of the best offbeat eco-tourism spots in Kalimpong district which can bring you very close to the ancient Lepcha culture. It is also one of the most sacred places of Limbu and Lepcha communities and definitely an escape from the overcrowded nearby hill towns like Kalimpong or Darjeeling.

You can reach here from Kalimpong town by road in one hour. From our Tandrabong homestay you can also visit the sacred lake near the village on foot and spend some quality time speaking with wonderfully jolly and hospitable local villagers, let alone the breath taking view of the forest, beautiful birds and serene mountains.

In the lap of nature and in the middle of ever green forest, this Home stay is an outstanding property. The hospitality is superior to numerous different facilities. At a reasonable price, we attempt to give the best service to you.

Tariff - Rs.1200 for per person per day (food + lodging).
